About

Cincinnati Coffee Festival launched in 2017 and has grown to become the Midwest’s largest coffee festival. The two-day event attracts thousands of attendees as well as coffee roasters, coffee and tea shops, bakers, pastry shops and chocolatiers from around the region. Samples, demos and live music make it’s a can’t-miss event for coffee lovers.

Ohio River Foundation produces the Cincinnati Coffee Festival as an annual fundraiser. The Cincinnati-based nonprofit offers successful education, habitat restoration and advocacy programs aimed at protecting and improving the water quality and ecology of the Ohio River and its watershed. Coffee has a natural connection to that mission: Without great water, you can’t have great coffee! Visit the nonprofit’s website to learn more about its important conservation work.

What is the Cincinnati Coffee Festival?
The Cincinnati Coffee Festival is the largest coffee and tea event in the Midwest and has quickly become one of the city’s premier events. The Festival is produced by, and it the major fundraiser for, Ohio River Foundation. Since a cup of coffee is about 98% water, the importance of water quality and connection to Ohio River Foundation work is strong. As the Festival tagline says, Without great water, you can’t have great coffee.

What to Expect
The Cincinnati Coffee Festival is open to the public with a large variety of local and regional coffee roasters, coffee and tea shops, bakers, pastry shops and chocolatiers on hand to sample their wares. Popular features include Latte Art in Action, where attendees can watch latte art being created by a master barista and learn how to pour a work of latte art. Demonstrations and presentations from industry experts, a “cupping” station, and live music are also featured.
