Cincinnati Coffee Festival is the Midwest’s largest coffee festival, attracting thousands of attendees as well as coffee roasters, coffee and tea shops, bakers, pastry shops, and chocolatiers from around the region. With samples, demos, and live music, it’s a can’t-miss event for coffee lovers! The event is the major fundraiser for Ohio River Foundation—as our tagline says, Without Great Water, You Can’t Have Great Coffee.

The design of the poster must be adaptable for any and all uses including different dimension print material, T-shirts, program material, and other uses the Festival chooses.

The winning poster will be chosen by a panel of judges selected by the Cincinnati Coffee Festival.

Official Rules of the Competition

Please read these rules carefully. Noncompliance may be cause for disqualification. If you have questions about the competition, please email CincinnatiCoffeeFestival@gmail.com.

Artist

The Artist must be 18 years of age or older and reside within 75 miles of downtown Cincinnati. Artists may submit more than one entry (each entry requires an individual submission form). Questions about eligibility? Please email CincinnatiCoffeeFestival@gmail.com.

Size and Format

The final poster size will be 11” x 17” and adaptable for other print material. Submissions for judging must be in JPG or PNG format. Other formats will not be accepted. The maximum file size for judging is 5 MB.

The winning artist must submit appropriate high-resolution PDF file(s) for production with appropriate bleed.

Naming Convention

Please name your file with the following convention: TitleofWork_LastName_FirstName. Please do not name your poster Cincinnati Coffee Festival Poster.

Key Dates

March 15, 2024: Entry deadline, 5p.m.

April 8, 2024: Winner announced

No corporate logos or personal logos (other than the Cincinnati Coffee Festival logo and the Ohio River Foundation logo) may be incorporated into the poster. Final art (if selected) must be made available in digital, hi-res format.

Entry Form and Submission Requirements

Entry into the poster contest is a two-part submission. You must complete an entry form and separately send in your artwork. No submission will be considered without an entry form.

As part of our efforts to be environmentally responsible, submissions must be sent electronically. Artwork files should be named with TitleofWork_LastName_FirstName and sent to CincinnatiCoffeeFestival@gmail.com.
